That's not true, he got hit by a sniper while he was looking through a pair of binoculars and pieces of the device got into his eye socket.

Rifle launched grenade likely from a vg-25. Just cause it's deemed non lethal it still has serious momentum and technically shouldn't be shot at a person for reasons like this. Training will be firing at the ground which allows it to slow down and bounce into the crowd like a tennis ball. This guy likely got hit directly by it or it was fired close to him and it him after the initial bounce.

Yes, I meant he got shot in the eye, not that he took a smoke grenade to his eye. I guess I should have said "A similar thing happened to Moshe Dayan, except a little different"
