Re: Husband Who Suspected His Wife Having an Affair Killed by Single Punch
Dude couldn't take a punch..... I got ko'd three times in a row in a single fight by a steroid junkie with a k.o bar.... fucked me up good, seen a wall of light the third time and heard a voice tell me "Not yet" before getting back up and spitting blood at the guy.... my heart stopped for 23 seconds in hospital from lack of blood from major cutts to my head/face. and this guy couldn't take one hook? poor guy but god damn, glass head. |

Re: Husband Who Suspected His Wife Having an Affair Killed by Single Punch
Wow, that's a tough call. If this was in Florida, dude would have been given awards for bravery. But honestly, when someone is getting in your face like that, I actually feel like you have the right to throw the first punch. Maybe we need more info. Like, how long was this argument going on for before he hooked him. Also, did the guy try walking away first, but the other guy kept following him and getting in his face? If so, he rightfully felt threatened. Though, I'm sure he had no intentions of killing the guy. Plus the dead guy had his hands in his pockets when he was hit. A cop would shoot you dead without question if you didn't show your hands. Maybe he had a knife in his pocket. |

Re: Husband Who Suspected His Wife Having an Affair Killed by Single Punch
Definitely was the unprotected fall against the back of his head that killed him. This is why a trained fighter should attempt to catch the person. It actually appears this guy may have tried to catch him on the way down. Also why the UFC does not allow punching or elbow's to the back of the head...

Do not provoke someone when your hands are in your pockets.

Re: Husband Who Suspected His Wife Having an Affair Killed by Single Punch
Its all in the way you fall, and where and how hard you hit your head. There's a reason that no combat sport allows strikes to the back of the head, and there's a long list of boxers that have been maimed or killed by them ( IE Gerald McClellan, Joe Mesi ). Far as the punch, who knows what was being said? If the guy was making threats? We'll never know. A lot of people die every year like this though, its the fall that does it not the punch. Gotta think about it if you want to street fight, cause this is where it could go...... |
