The truck driver stopped more than long enough. They had the bike out of the way, so he wasn't risking damaging his truck by driving over it and so it was time to be on his way - probably had a busy delivery schedule and was already behind. No reason to delay any longer just because he had to drive over a corpse. That one was headed for a closed casket funeral (if any funeral at all) in any event.
