West Java, A woman was found dead after she jumped from the 14th floor of an abandoned building on Saturday just after 8 AM.

The woman was a housewife named Rina Y (50), a resident of East Jakarta.

According to information Rina came alone using a motorcycle. She was seen pacing around the building area before entering it. Shortly after, residents heard a loud noise from the back of the building.

Around eight o'clock she entered the building. People looked for her, but she didn’t come out again. Suddenly someone saw her fall from above.

Another witness said the victim appeared confused before the incident. She seemed dazed, like someone unconscious.

The woman married and worked as a housewife.

The body was immediately evacuated to the hospital for further examination. The police are still investigating the victim’s motive and gathering witness statements around the location.

The building where Rina ended her life is known by residents as an abandoned building that has been neglected for 7 years. Some residents admitted they often saw people coming and going without supervision.

It’s been empty for a long time, often a hangout place for young people. Now someone committed suicide, it’s really scary, said a local resident.
