Thanks to Nano49, for the info: This happened in 1998 in the city of Cua in Venezuela (not Venezuala). 18 yr old Hector Duarte tried to rob a bakery when the cops were alerted. After a brief shoot out, he was shot in the left forearm and left leg, he ran up that apartment building and took Mrs Mercedes Lopez hostage after shooting her two 10 and 12 yrs old sons in the legs.
The blood on the lady's shirt is from his wounded forearm, he demanded a car so he can go to Caracas Venezuela, and told the cops to get 2 coffins ready 1 for him and 1 for the lady because that was the only way out for him, "you shoot me I shoot her" (hence the cocky attitud) was his reply to the Hostage negotiator (sitting in car with yellow cap on) SWAT sniper was 50 meters away on a nearby roof top a single shot .302 caliber 75 grain shot was fired to end the siege.
