My Dad is a trucker and has seen all sorts of crazy shit happen but he said what affected him most was a crash like this one in Northern Ireland which he saw while he was eating his lunch by the side of a road. An SUV tried to overtake a slow moving truck but didn't make it past and was crushed by another truck. Dad said after he got out of his cab and ran across to where the SUV was he could see that they were all dead inside, just smashed to pieces. Then as he ran up to see if the trucker was okay, he saw that on the hood of the SUV was a baby's head.

He said he never thought he'd sleep after seeing that but was back out on the job the day after. I would have been in pieces.
