Now, this was gruesome. As you can see, the eye was detached from part of the nerves, so it is unlikely that eye was functioning; and I don't think they were able to save it, she would probably be using a prosthetic piece. I'm pretty sure that's a before pic, you can see no scars and I believe we still don't have the technology nor technic to leave her in such a great condition. Very sad but I guess the problem would have been minor if she used the seat belt. |
