it's been said before but might as well say it again... upon jumping off the ledge like that, he was in free fall for a considerable amount of time before he actually makes contact with the concrete face. he was probably (hopefully) knocked out by the hit against the wall before sliding down to his ultimate death where his head fuckin exploded Johhhhhnnnn!!! The loud thud of him hitting the face of the dam is most likely what called their attention to him.  oh! another thing to look out for is at 12 seconds into the video, where you can see that Asian guy holding the camera, behind him is a concrete ledge that extends out over the face of the dam. the jumper most likely climbed up onto that before jumping off, which would give him more free-fall time before he collides with the 'crete. |
