Fucking fascinating observation! I seem to remember the Brits did police gunfight research in gun fight slathered shitholes like HK, Shanghi or maybe Formosa around 1900 to 1920. They found at that time a .38 revolver firing a 180 grain bullet worked effectively for winning gunfights. I wonder if other Chinese police use revolvers or if it a Hong Kong thing...
