A homeless man, who has not been identified, was beaten to death by 34-year-old Calvo Córdoba on a public road near a gas station. The man was rushed to hospital, but ultimately succumbed to severe head trauma.

Calvo was arrested - he told police that the man had broken into his house a few days earlier, and the beating served as retaliation. He was sentenced to six months of pre-trial detention.

Costa Rica is a misery to get unwatermarked content from. The video is stitched together from two different sources, one of which had no audio. If anyone can find an improved version of the video, let me know.
