I injured my back at work back in January... Slipped a couple of disks, tore my pelvic ligaments and ended up with my lower spine curving out sideways under the pressure (moving and handling in the care field is fine if you're allowed to use the proper equipment but not fine if you have to lift someone much bigger than you manually and they fall on top of you as a result!). So been having traction and all that and waiting to see if I need some surgery to remove the damaged disks and help straighten the spine with metal rods... Bloody nightmare! But DR keeps me more than occupied!  |

That sounds pretty bad, you must have been really messed up. Hopefully there won't be any surgery. I don't like people enough to want to help them when they get sick, let alone have a huge invalid fall on me. |

I don't like people that much either - that's why I'm claiming against her... A couple of people have said "you can't do that - she's disabled" and my response is "yeah, she always has been but just coz she is doesn't mean I have follow in her footsteps". I'm not a huge fan of people so my job's a pain in the arse...

Oh fuck that noise, I hate this idea that disabled people are untouchable. You know those cart people who zip really fast up behind you on the sidewalk, if one of them hit me I would sue them in a second. I don't like them at all, most of them look like they are disabled due to their own lifestyle choices. Some people really need help and some people are just helpless. Sue dat bitch!  |
