Hitman Shoots Vendor Inside Mall at Close Range in the Head
Colombia. This morning around 10:00 AM, a targeted hitman attack shattered the peace inside a shopping center. The commercial area, widely known for its cell phone and accessory shops, was busy with vendors and shoppers when an armed man walked in. The gunman walked directly up to a specific stall and, without saying a word, drew his firearm and shot a well-known local merchant multiple times at close range in the head. The victim died instantly at the scene. The shooting triggered instant panic throughout the complex. The hitman immediately fled the premises and tried to hide in a nearby building that was under construction, however, a rapid response from the National Police units patrolling the sector led to a foot chase. Officers successfully intercepted and apprehended the suspect just a few meters away from the crime scene. The Victim was identified as Leiner A.L.O, a cell phone merchant who was 35 years old and the shooter was identified as Jair de J.A.d.l.H, who was 27 years old. Authorities noted that he already had a criminal record with prior arrests for theft in 2017 and 2025. |
