CARNIVAL 2024: The man who was murdered inside a convenience store in Olinda (Brazil) by a criminal dressed as a papangu owned the gas station where the crime took place on the afternoon of Carnival Sunday (11). The victim was identified by an employee of the establishment as Rafael G* E*, 34.

On Tuesday morning (13), a journalist went to the scene of the murder, on Avenida Dr. Joaquim Nabuco, 728, in the neighborhood of Varadouro. The Petrobahia gas station was down, as was the convenience store.

The murder was recorded by Civil Police through the Homicide Task Force and is investigated by the 9th Homicide Police Station Olinda. Information on who committed this crime, whether he had a relationship with the victim and the motivation for the murder of Rafael was not disclosed by the police.
