Everybody should be holding an ice ax for personal and team safety/survival. The only ax I see is held by the trailing climber in the roped trio.

Yep. It happens so slowly and looks like there is a chance even there's not. Definitely different feeling for the viewers too compared to falling from a rooftop or cliff.
