Re: High Speed Fatal Car Crash
I don't know if she was driving a short distance or a long distance (to get to her destination), but people, wake up! If you are feeling tired, exhausted, haven't been able to just take a breather during the day, pull into a parking lot and catch a nap. It does wonders. I used to deliver newspapers, I'd be up at 2/3AM, a few times I had to pull into a parking lot to just get 20-30 mins of a nap because I felt so tired, even though I was in a residential neighborhood and wasn't driving fast and stuff, if I didn't take a nap, I could have easily gotten into an accident. I remember my husband and I were about to drive up north to see my family, MapQuest estimated it would take about 10 hours. So I ask him how many hours should we drive before taking breaks. He didnt understand the need of wasting time and was insulted that by me asking about the breaks was me really telling him he was a lousy driver. I also further insulted his driving when he saw how I had my eyes shut tight and hand squeezing the door handle as were were flying 75-80 mph on the highways while it was raining hard. And he got 2 expensive tickets for excessive speeding. One of the worst long distance drives ever. So I guess people just have ego issues when it comes to being as safe as possible when steering a potential weapon of destruction. I know, TMI, I can't afford a therapist at the moment. |
