I seriously doubt that. You see the guy like 50 or 60 feet in the air right? You know what causes that? Energy. The only way he would have survived is to be in a 5 or 6 point harness in a racing seat with a helmet connected to a hans device. Simply wearing a seat belt would only keep him in the car. But his head and legs, arms and well probably his entire body would still have all that energy throwing him around like a rag doll inside. A seatbelt for the most part is designed to protect you in a front collision. And then the airbag deploys and saves you skull from bashing into the wheel and killing you. But those bags inflate and then deflate same with curtain airbags. So he likely would have hit his head on the door the roof the the wheel and over and over again. He probably would have came out of the shoulder harness during the roll too. |
