Re: Helmet Did Not Save This Guy Either

even if it was a DOT helmet, something ran over his head

These little 50cc scooters are "dayne-jah" especially when people don't see you or the rider makes the assumption that he is within view and safe to proceed..

The only thing that helmet did was keep the skull and brains from painting the other lanes of traffic.

Re: Helmet Did Not Save This Guy Either

when i first started racing my dad bought me my first helmet,i was 17 and he said he wanted me safe...so he bought the cheapest one he could find...a the name started with an S..sounded like shoo-ee when spoken..went to the first "play day" at the track i was to run...on entrance, during the safety check...they told me i either needed to borrow a helmet..or i had to sit out...thank god a guy took pity on me and loaned me a legal one...then i went out and bought an expensive Bell..and had one of my sponsors pay for it..lol

Re: Helmet Did Not Save This Guy Either

what kinda father buys their son a cheap ass helmet. that's like jumping off an airplane and saying a bedsheet is good enough as a parachute.
