Re: Headshot & Fancy Free
With the amount of blood loss, it's very surprising that he was able to remain conscious and even get up under his own power.

Re: Headshot & Fancy Free
I saw something similar once. He'd not gotten up like this dude, but rather, before dying, remained on his back sort of kicking, trying to shove away from the concrete as if he weren't horizontal. I saw a cat as well, struck by a speeding Datsun, behave similarly. Massive damage done to the brain has to be one of the most interesting things to look at. They could probably teach a whole med-school class on that Narco Tribunal video with that frightened honey getting log conked on the top of her head, and what ensues.

Holy schnitzel Batman.....did you see that??? One shot to the brainpan and a lot of the red vino emptied out onto the pavement and he's still trying to run the marathon.....if only he was quicker he might have avoided the shot to the noggin!!! Take two aspirin and call me in the morning!!! |

Re: Headshot & Fancy Free
I'll be interested to hear whether he survived or not; it is absolutely incredible the kinds of things, including heavy blood loss, that some people can come back from. The onlookers really should have gone to his aid as soon as he attempted to stand up though; sit him up somewhere so that gravity's not bucketing the blood out of his head.
