A young man died and another was left in a serious condition, victims of a gun attack on the afternoon of Sunday, the 28th August, on Barra de São Miguel beach, on the South Coast of Alagoas. According to information from witnesses, the victims are residents of São Miguel dos Campos. Two youths managed to escape the shooting.

One of the victims, whose identity was not disclosed, was shot in the head and died on the spot, the second victim, 21, was rescued by a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). He was taken to the State General Hospital (HGE), in Maceió.

The attack was witnessed by several people, but no one was able to identify those responsible for the shooting. The motivation of crime is still unknown.

In addition to military police garrisons, civil police officers were at the scene. The body of the dead young man was examined and taken to the Instituto de Medicina Legal (IML) Estácio de Lima, in Maceió.

It's sad because Brazil really Is a beautiful place, but coming from someone that Is Portuguese, I would never step foot in that country.
