Two men were killed with multiple shots on route E35, in Ecuador. Two other people, who accompanied them, managed to save themselves despite the fact that they also received bullet wounds. They are hospitalized and under police protection.

The crime occurred yesterday afternoon between 16:30 and 17:45, not far from a tollbooth.

The four were travelling in a black SUV and a red double cab pickup. According to preliminary investigations, close to the tollbooth, one of the vehicles had a technical fault in the middle of the road, so they towed it with the other vehicle.

However meters later, a fault occurs again that forces the drivers to stop and get out to check what happened. During that, a third vehicle appeared, from which a subject descends and opened fire on the people.

A minute later, a fourth car appeared and, in the same way, a man left the car to shoot at the travelers.

The four people attacked are Ecuadorians.
