It's funny you say that, back in the day my grandmother had this contraption that you tied to your neck/head that had straps on both sides and a rope you slung over an open door with a sand bag weight on the other end. You stood there basically hanging yourself to relieve spine pressure and alleviate pain. Prescribed by a doctor no less.. was weird as hell to me.

Yes!!! An old traction device! I remember seeing those before.
Actually really good for back pain, but it works best when you’re using it… not really much lasting relief otherwise.
