I don’t think so. Granted, I wasn’t there, but to assume these asshats play on your empathy is to assume the person has empathy to play with in the first place. I’ve met my fair share of people in the drug world and they don’t often come from homes where they have a lot of people they care about or who care about them and almost nobody has a relationship with their dealer or debtors in which they divulge that kind of information. It’s not like the movies. Drug dealers don’t know your mama and them and they aren’t out their slicing up your family when you don’t pay your debts. It’s a “you pay or you die” kind of a relationship... pretty clean and simple. Killing a family member is a big risk. Killing the person who owes you or did you wrong isn’t. It isn’t complicated. Now, they might lure you into a false sense of comfort or drug you out of your mind but those are luxuries. These people donas they’re told because they think it’s the only chance they have at mercy and by the time the axe comes it’s too late and they go into shock like a rabbit. Regardless of how likely you are to die in any situation, we instinctively are prone to think we won’t. That instinct makes it easy to lure people to their deaths. The first stage of grief is denial. When you’re about to be slaughtered, you’ll likely never get to the other four stages. Why bring someone’s family into it when they won’t think you’ll kill them even after watching you kill the person next to them? Seriously, watch any video on this site where two people get murdered one after the other. I guarantee the second to die won’t hardly react to the first regardless of relationship to them or how violent the death. I’ve seen husbands barely flinch at the sight of their death of their wives. Up until their last breath they still believe they are bound to wake up beside them the next morning. |

People can be SAVAGE! I bet that was the longest and worst 3 minutes of his life. I hope he at least did something to fucking deserve it. Didn't even try to struggle or run.  |
