There is no scenario where a defender must gamble their life so that another cunt could attack them. There is also no such thing as simply "getting beat up". A defender never knows before hand, if the attacker is gonna hit them once, if that one hit is gonna land them head first on the pavement, leaving them dead, or if the attacker would continue to kick a guy once they are down and beat them to death. When i was a kid, i actually lost my uncle in such an incident. He was attacked by a drunk guy, who hit him once in the head. That was it. Brain hemorrhage followed by death an hour later. Personally, i treat every attack against myself as "an attack with intent to kill" and i behave accordingly.

Thank you. That’s exactly right. I just took a firearm safety course at our police station, and one scenario we discussed was exactly this.
People die from being beaten up, it can only take one strike, just like with your uncle. (I’m very sorry..)
And that is EXACTLY why beating someone is considered deadly force. We see people die here all the time from being beaten.
