Re: Guy Tries to Start a Fight. Gets Shot in the Chest by Concealed Carrier
Past tense. Exactly. They cannot be applied just like an AK for actual useful purposes. Y'know. Defense against tyranny. You're not going to punch through the armor of police officers when they come to drag you off to the gulag for wrongthink or not getting your 666th booster with pistols. You're not going to lay down suppressive fire with a bolt action rifle. Some cunt could walk into a school with a lever action rifle and cause chaos. But when it comes to the number one practical purpose of firearms, which is defense, they're rendered as stunties because of it. Soft points usually. For weight retention. On something big like a moose, yeah out of a hunting rifle it'll dump the entire force into the target. Person, though? In a defensive situation? Nah. It'll expand a little and then continue straight through. But at that point you're barely any better off than FMJ. Try getting some Norma MHP stuff for a 9mm pistol in France. You think I'm talking about military applications? Military isn't the only type of combat. Defense against private crooks or public crooks is mainly what I'm talking about. If you're not using expanding rounds out of a rifle for combat, then you're either stupid, don't have access to them, or you know you're going up against people wearing at least level III hard armor. You'll still probably get away with expanding rounds if they're wearing IIIA or below. I need to run some tests on that. I mean you clearly think I'm some screeching leftist who thinks AR-15s cause explosions inside your body and that hollow points are "cop killer" rounds or some other such stupidity. Fuck your military, your flag, your country, your cops, and all that gun control that comes with them. Good day. |

I don't need expansion, in a full power rifle, when I've got yaw, tumble and fragmentation... Or better yet, pre-segmented, controlled fragmentation, like the Lehigh Defense rounds I keep in my home defense stuff... |
