funny thing is, you never said that it was the worst thing you have ever seen so why do you take my post "personal" ?

I try to get an objective point of view (as best as possible as a subject myself, who can never be 100% objective) by the grade of pain someone has to endure before he/she can finally die.

So it surely looks very brutal but the head itself doesn't have that many sensitive areas(where he got hit)... the brain itself doesn't feel anything if it's hurt/damaged directly...so I guess the blows won't feel much different than getting beaten with the end of a baton/baseball etc.

In comparison to that, getting all your bones broken, while electroshocks go through your body (and no not those prank gum things that shocks you for a second, high voltage over a long time) or beeing burned alive most surely is more painful..
just look at all the burning videos; how much they get beaten and still resist because the pain is way too intense to not to do anything.. even passed out awake.

But this form of killing probably is the most common throughout man's existence. How many men died from being speared before gunpowder was invented? Bayoneting of head, specifically the eyes and genitals was the "traditional" method of execution in Poland of ethnic Germans before WW2. This even included women and children. The Bayonet was the primary weapon of British soldiers during the American revolution, not the single shot musket. One volley of the muskets mostly to wound the enemy then a bayonet charge was next. Bayonets were the weapon of choice during the Battle of Kings Mountain. German troops issued Sawback bayonets were killed with them if captured with it and was intentionally gruesome. So much so that soldiers filed the saw teeth off so they wouldn't be tortured with it if captured or wounded. This was so common that eventually the German military grinded all the Sawback bayonets down to avoid the brutal killing of their POWs.
