Guy Shoots Guy, Hiding in Hospital, Multiple Times in His Back
Brazil, A man was shot by a criminal while attempting to flee an assault late Saturday (25). According to the Military Police, Daniel de Sá Freitas, 20, was shot inside the Vale do Guaporé Hospital after being chased by two men. The situation occurred at 5 am. Witnesses called the PM and said the two young men were nervous, saying they had just suffered an attempted robbery and that one of them was shot.  The young guy who was accompanying the victim said that they were driving a car and when they approached the hospital, Daniel stopped the vehicle to answer a call. The two suspects approached on a bike and the boy on the rump drew a gun pointing toward Daniel. The passenger noticed the situation and caught the young man's attention, who accelerated the car and fled towards the hospital. The two young men got out of the vehicle and sought help from others in the hospital.  Soon after the two suspects arrived at the health unit, they saw Daniel and one of them fired several times at the victim. Daniel still tried to run but fell wounded in the corridor of the hospital. The second victim managed to run and hid inside a ward of the hospital unit. Daniel was rescued and one of the doctors said that he was hit by approximately six shots. The boy was taken to medical care in Cáceres, 220 km from Cuiabá. Update: Thanks for the update M.M. ;) |

Lucky to believe... It's so sad because Brazil is such a beautiful place, but it's too dangerous in most parts to even visit. |

Daniel suffered a cardiac arrest on the morning of 5th September + passed away. He'd been in hospital since the shooting. http://www.nortaonoticias.com.br/policia/175930/Ap
