Re: Guy with Samurai Sword Attacks People Killing a Teenage Boy in London
And in the US he would have had a semi-auto rifle and a handgun and he would have killed more people. The police would not have had a range of weapons to choose from at this and other events, and they would have taken cover rather than move to engage up close where they can see what he is doing and may be about to do. Rather than flee he would have been more inclined to take a stand in someone's house. He'd kill himself giving the victim's families no opportunity for justice. Knowing he would not be held accountable he would be more likely to kill anyone trapped with him before he kills himself. Being the US the cops would be half as likely to be female and only be required to have graduated high school (vs having a degree in the uk) and thus a patrol would have a more limited range of skills. Also being the US, they would have had to devote more training to approaching all situations ready for the possibility of a gunfight - which is problematic in numerous ways. Not least how that influences the mentality and health of officers. At any hint of risk, the officers would be trained and practiced at shooting first, and asking questions later. As a priority they would be trained to reduce the department's legal liability at the expense of, say, treating the injured. Indeed, spending less than half what is spent training new officers, in the US, less attention must be given to things like de-escalation, first aid, mental illness, neirodiversity, cultural awareness, assisting vulnerable people, and developing relationships within the community that can forewarn and even assist in the midst of a situation. There would be more chance of imitation, and more untrained citizens acquiring guns, each of which comes with a statistucal cost of accidental death. There'd be less intelligence applied or gained. |

An armed cop, depending on how long it took the last samurai to get to the young boy, and being seen, could have saved the lads life...One thing is for sure, in America he would not be getting 3 meals a day and free electricity, because he would be fkn |

I think, all these "western" country (eg. British, USA etc) from pre-school they starts to learn the vulgar language in school and they are so proud of speaking it even women saying it with every starting and ending of any sentence. A for Anal, B for Breast, C for Cock, D for Dick, E for erection, F for Fuck.... |

Well give us his mum and dad's address and I'll go around and check, considering I live here too. You'd better not be telling lies now? That sounds like something my grandson would say when I asked him whether he'd done his homework, though he is 7. |
