That was absolutely horrifying and beyond words. They seem to be those reflex breaths people take as they are dying, very horrid to hear and sad seeing life fade away like that  Laughter in the medical profession is very common. It's nothing personal against the person and is their way of dealing with the daily horrors they see. They'd crack up if they didn't use coping methods, however sick it appears. The patient may well have heard them though if he was still barely alive but that brain damaged, a response was not seen. |

That part is understandable. Stress relief. But to have it documented in reality and seen somewhere else might offend the patient's relatives. Usually no reasoning with the grieving.  |

He was no longer bleeding, so my guess would be he was already dead and those were reflex breaths. There was one where a young girl had died and took a few reflexive breaths after, very similar to this. That was probably the most creepy thing I have seen on here.
