My guess is because of the rate of HIV/AIDS. At least 1.5 million Kenyans are infected. Although, it seems as though many don't understand how it is spread, since many feel having sex with a virgin will cure you. Who knows? Maybe the HIV rate was an issue, or maybe they just didn't give a crap
