Settle down, sunshine. Let's keep it real. Accidents like this do happen here however if the above clip were to have happened in Portland or St. Louis or Austin it would have made national news because it was so outrageous. But you and I have sat through enough of these clips from India, or Brazil, or Mexico, or Nigeria where things like this seem to be a daily occurrence. I'm American and I certainly do not think we are "#1", we have a lot of problems, but neither are we nearly as bad as some of the third world nations I have visited where only governments, police, and the military count. All others be damned. These people just don't give a fuck about each other, that's why they stand around and film a guy being burned alive in a stack of tires or hover over a gurgling child after he was just run over and film him. Got any clips of something like that to share with us? From America? There's exquisite beauty everywhere but there is also evil, indifference, cruelty, and in some societies it's cultural rather than exceptional. And by the way we don't all live in trailers. I live in a van down by the river.  |
