I've seen this shit happen to a kid in Afghanistan. It was a rocket that missed us, and dug itself into the ground without exploding. The local kids would go out and collect brass, etc. One kid saw the UXO (107mm rocket) and started digging it out. It blew up. Blew off both his legs, destroyed his genitals, blew off his right hand, peppered his chest, and blinded him with shrapnel to the face. Hes was medevac'd out. He ended up dying on his way to Bagram Airbase.   |

There were even, straight cuts on the right upper thigh wounds. Don't look like something from an explosion. Explosions would cause more uneven, raggedy and more scorching wounds? Upper torso looks relatively clear. Left arm broken, right hand gone. Blood around the mouth.. maybe some internal or facial wound? Looks like a motorcycle accident to me. |
