You make a good point. But, I'm pretty sure you've seen somewhere about soldiers being in combat, or professionals that work in dangerous environments.

One of the first things you'll hear from them when asked about panic or being unable to think clearly is that they relied on their "training" and experience to help them think clearly and calmly to avoid disastrous mistakes. They often say, "I relied on my training.."

That kind of stuff gets drilled into them through their instructors because panic can lead to fatal errors.

I think he mighta had a little bit more chance of survival if he hit the forest floor instead of the pavement if we was lucky.. nice post it's always a little eerie hearing grown men scream like that knowing their fate

Like I said in my previous comment guys, he did actually survive this and only had minor injuries. Spent a week in hospital, so he was incredibly lucky.
