Re: Guy Diagnosed with Cancer Jumped from an Overpass

People can survive some pretty horrendous head traumas, even with a loss of brain tissue. It's a long shot but always worth checking for signs of life.

But there are many more considerate ways that are far less traumatic to others.

I mean, he stopped traffic, made a big mess and other people are going to have to live with memories of this.
With extreme depression or trauma, you are trapped in a fog and simply can't see or consider the bigger picture. You are trapped in the here and now. And that's when incidents like this can happen.

Very very sad

Re: Guy Diagnosed with Cancer Jumped from an Overpass

Not as sad as dying a slow and painful death from cancer.

Although it does piss me off when people feel the need to end their own lives they bring other people in to the mix. He jumped off a bridge, right? A car obviously hit him and bounced him across the road to the hard shoulder.

Imagine the psychological damage to the person driving that car he has inflicted. As if killing yourself wasn't selfish enough (ok maybe not if you've been diagnosed with terminal cancer) you have to mentally scar someone else and potentially ruin their life and their families life by effectively making them unwillingly murder you.

Just take a bunch of pills or heroin ffs. Or jump off a cliff. Why ruin someone else's life just so you can end your own?

I doubt a car hit him. It just looks like he bounced.

Re: Guy Diagnosed with Cancer Jumped from an Overpass

During the autopsy they'll find he didn't have cancer after all and he could have lived a long and healthful life.
