Mexico. Friday afternoon a guy on a motorcycle pulled onto the road without looking and was hit by a white pick-up truck driven by 17 year old Bárbara N.

She lost control of the vehicle and slammed into two women travelling on a bike that died.

The two women were mothers of a total of seven children, who have now been left orphaned.

Zuleimi S. M. being a mother of five children. She was a recent graduate in Agricultural Engineering.

Elizandra A. C. being a mother of two minor children and worked at a local kitchenware store.

The motorcyclist causing the scene was seen leaving the scene of the accident later on.

Community protests took place and legal charges were sought by the families against the 17 year old woman who, in their eyes, was speeding.

She was released from custody after passing an alcohol and drugs test but residents accused authorities of favouritism because she comes from a family in the local cattle ranching sector.

All because some asshole doesn't stop & yield to moving traffic. He passed another motorcyclist who's already stopped & waiting for traffic to clear. She wasn't speeding. She seemed to be traveling just as fast as all the other vehicles. And as usual the asshole walks away with minimal losses.
