Or maybe we have all just become desensitized to the sight of someone getting their throat slashed? I mean, in all the oldest beheading videos the reactions were pages upon pages of outrage and disbelief.... These days it's more like, "Ooh, that's interesting, but I've seen better. Now let's see what everyone else is talking about." At least when the guns start going off, there'll be a few people who won't be shocked into immobility, and that's an encouraging thought |
