Almost certain those are mortuary pads / Cadpads . They absorb a lot of body fluids .

sucks hearing the mother yelling at her son.. When they flipped him over on his back, she flipped out when she saw his face

Those guys should have moved her out of there instead of her watching the whole removal..

Sidenote: That little path that the cleanup crew had to navigate was pretty narrow and loaded with little hazards
It looks like they live in a flea market.
