Re: Grenade Explodes In Man's Hand
Grenades are pretty common when raiding rooms or buildings. So they're still very much a thing in any urban warfare. Standard procedure to get on the both side of the doorway, squad member on the other side of the door opens the door, while guy directly facing the opening side of the door throws a grenade in. BOOM! and the squad goes in fast with each member securing a specific side of the room. Theres the usual shrapnel grenades that don't kill with the explosion, but the sharp objects that fly in every direction from the explosion. Then theres the "nonlethal" ones like Flashbangs. And finally theres a "pressure grenade", which does not have shrapnel but WAY more explosive power. Throwing it inside a bunker, a room or any tight space will kill with the explosion alone, making them ideal bunker busters. And at the same time they're good live practice grenades because in open environments they are not quite as dangerous as shrapnel ones. |
