Re: Grenade Explodes In Man's Hand
Wouldnt be surprised if he didnt even cook it, but let go of the handle of the grenade too quickly. Lot of people don't know that its not the removal of the pin that starts the timer, its when you let go of the handle afterwards and it ejects from the grenade. As long as you have a firm grip of the grenade and its handle, removing the pin does not cause it to explode. Also could just be it was a shoddily built IED that exploded prematurely. |

Re: Grenade Explodes In Man's Hand
I'm thinking this was some type of ghetto IED and not a properly constructed, "grenade". Even if he wasn't holding the spoon and pulled the pin (before they started recording), that's still a much longer fuse than most true, "grenades"... |

Re: Grenade Explodes In Man's Hand
Seriously, a big dark splash appears on the clean yellow wall behind where his head was. I wish the camera stayed on target longer. Also, it appears a vehicle's headlight appears just as he throws. Might have been a policia car or rival gang vehicle. Kids these days, what ever happened to just dropping rocks from overpasses? |
