So, the traffic laws in Turkey are fucked up. No matter the circumstance, the driver is always guilty. Granny jaywalking means nothing, the driver is to blame. Accidents like this, usually result in a type of clan war, all of Granny's family would find truckers family and kill them if they could, as revenge. Buddy in the truck probably saw, even at the last second, but booked it out of there to save his life and very least call his family and tell them to get the fuck out of Dodge. In a lot of pedestrian accidents, the drivers beg to be taken to jail, because the victims family calls for blood. It's a fucked up country, blood feuds are still very common. Even though Granny was dumb, the driver is guilty, and because it was an elderly woman, I'm betting the driver "vanished" in the night. Seriously... poor Granny though... *squish*
