Government Official Murdered in His Office
The Philippines. A village councilor was shot dead while on duty in the Sampaloc district this past Thursday (02). A.E.C.J., age 43, known to many as "Papa Weng", was shot and killed by two masked assailants while having a meeting at the village hall on Algeciras street, according to the Manila Police District. The gunmen fled the scene aboard an unlicensed, red Toyota Innova. Recovered at the scene were 14 fired cartridge cases of an unknown caliber. The motive for the murder has yet to be determined. |
