Re: Gotcha Sucker
in 6 pages and no one touched on this? the act of taking another human life, even though they were threatening yours, is an emotional weight that can be very damaging to the shooter. Thats why cops are put on administrative leave, and their fire arm confiscated even if it was good shoot, due to the emotional impact it has on you. So on one hand its nice to see an american defend himself from a low life piece of shit like this, on the other hand gramps now has to contend with the fact that he just took the life of someone else. And you can bet your ass the dead guys family is going to sue gramps in a wrongful death suit. and for all you anti gun nuts out there? Criminals dont obey gun laws. Govt imposes gun restrictions to buy your vote cause your fucking moron, and to ensure that if and when the govt decides your no longer worthy of living, you cant fight back. And as far as mass gun confiscations thruogh the use of registrations? Yes it has happened, just look at Katrina. |

Re: Gotcha Sucker
Some people can, at least under the right circumstances, kill someone and not have it bother them. While no one can say for certain until they do, I've been put in a situation where late cops and a weaker door would have meant blowing someone away with a shotgun; and I can say with 90% certainty that I could have blasted him into the next world and not been bothered all that much by it. My guess is that the gun shop owner was mentally prepared for such an incident given his line of work, so he probably wasn't all that bothered by it. And if he was a veteran (which he may have been, judging by his stance, composure, and accuracy), then he's probably not bothered at all. Also, there were no mass gun confiscations following Katrina. Louisiana does not maintain a state registry of firearms that are not Class 3, and no such Federal registry exists. |
