Goods Carrier Loaded with Iron Pipes Overturns, Crushing Biker to Death
Balanagar, Telangana, India A 56-year-old gold-melting shop owner, Prakash P., was killed when a goods carrier transporting iron pipes overturned near the Balanagar flyover. According to the police, Prakash was travelling to work on his scooter and was taking a U-turn beneath the flyover when the goods carrier overturned on him. Police said the vehicle was illegally overloaded, with iron pipes stacked unevenly, causing it to lose balance and overturn. The goods carrier driver has been apprehended. |

All true. Bad on the truck driver and loader. Still, the scooter rider should have given that disaster waiting to happen a wider berth.
