A culture of people that will douse someone in gasoline and burn them alive for stealing a bike is so ‘diverse’ and ‘culturally enriching’. /s Seriously though, if some —hole unjustly set me on fire after drenching me in accelerant I hope I’d have the foresight and fortitude to run at and give them a giant bear hug as I went down (and hold them there while we both burned to ashes.) |

When I was growing up cops referred to somewhat milder forms of instant punishment as "curbside justice." It was normally done for minor crimes, and was quick and effective, saving a lot on court costs. Official procedures were reserved for more serious crimes.
