Don't speculate if you have no idea what you're talking about. Breathing is regulated by the brain stem. Her forebrain was blown out. It's not muscle spasms, and there isn't a little intact chunk of brain. Her brain stem is just maintaining breathing like it always has.

i guess a faithful loving father doesn't know when to stop to realize that until someone hold him back and push the fact inside his brain that his kid is gone forever. sad

I something like this in Afghanistan once. A dude missing a good portion of his head was reflex breathing for awhile until he finally died. It was one of the worst sounds I have ever heard. Breathing signals come from the brain stem, so despite the injury... the body was trying desperately to survive. Rough to see something like this with kids :(
