I guess the main thing I think about is how someone lived long enough to be a teen or adult without having ever swam. I learned late and I was about 10 years old.

Must have been cold there, there is snow blowing across the camera lens. If this was Beijing, it is at the same latitude as Chicago, so the water would have been icy cold. But if she had been able to swim, she could have made it to the steps and climbed out. Too bad.....
