First of all, I am not fighting, condescending or being disrespectful.

Stoning is written in hadith literature (alleged saying of prophet Muhammad pbuh), written somewhat 200 years of prophet's death. Sunni and shiya has different Hadith literature (with some community, including stonning hadiths). They authenticated their hadith corpus (what prophet said 200 years ago) by some method developed by them. And both sect (shiya and sunni) authenticated that it happened during prophet's lifetime.

The majority of countries that follow Islamic law, have written into their law books countries have it written into law for these stonings ( United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, northern Nigeria, Afghanistan, Brunei, and tribal parts of Pakistan) that stoning Is legal and just punishment for zina due to this Hadith.

Most laws are written that there must be multiple Witnesses to the infidelity for this punishment (2-4 depending upon the locale)

Yup, not all Muslims will stone people to death. But that doesn't mean that people can interpret the book of multiple choice in that way, and be raised in a culture pushing that view.

It's like a Christian saying they accept gay people. They are still supporting a belief in the same god and other ideologies that go with it.

You may not believe exactly as they do, but you have overlapping beliefs with them, which in a way supports part of what makes this barbaric behaviour acceptable.
