One of the best and funniest stories every told to me went like this; She had been moving around furniture and cleaning and getting a lot of stuff done when some Jehovah's witnesses rang the doorbell. She went and answered the doorbell and she was all sweaty and out of breath and they said "oh my you seem to be out of breath is everything okay?" and she answered back "I'm all right I was just having sex." and they have a shocked look on their faces and they just ask "are you married?" and she replies back "Pssh! Why would I marry a goat???" They say goodbye and get away from there as quick as they can. Needless to say, she never had a problem with Jehovah's witnesses again. |

I was a Jehovah's Witness -technically still am, just not active- so this hits me a little bit. JWs are notorious for shunning ex members (like, will pretend they don't see you by mandate of the church), no exceptions made. It causes a lot of family division. When I became inactive, I lost my family and it's been 10 years of the same. When my dad was dying in the hospital, when my uncle died and other friends I grew up passed, I never received notice. It's pretty much being subhuman. I imagine this idiot couldn't deal with the depression of being ousted and killed JWs as revenge but it's stupid because JWs are just sheep that follow orders by the New York Headquarters who live lavishly and want to exert complete control over them. HQ is to blame, not these poor souls. |
