If I'm not mistaken there actually IS or WAS a test bed for helicopter ejection seats...swear.

The rotor blades were charged with a little explosive to blow them away from the fuselage. So much to go wrong though imo.

Just for kicks, why don't you take us through how you think an ejector seat is going to work out in a helicopter? A seat that launches up and out of the vehicle, ya?... Right up into the spinning main rotor blades overhead. That doesn't sound like it would improve their survival odds very much at all. I'm sure it would make for a kick-ass video clip for DR, though.
