I don't know about other states, but in Florida this would be a clean shoot. Our "Stand your ground" law would protect the shooter in this instance, as it should in my opinion. The victim was the aggressor, he chose to arm himself and approach the other vehicle in a threatening manner, and then chose to commit what boils down to aggravated assault on the driver of the white truck. The driver of the white truck does not need to wait around and try and figure out if he will get shot or not, the threat already rises to the level for deadly force. Too bad for the victim he had to learn this the hard way.
