Wow! Just read some of the articles in a few Indian newspapers and these guys are out of their minds. Trying to say he was shot in cold blood, and that the Indian government need to lodge a formal complaint etc etc. Apu pulled a gun over a trivial driving disagreement and found out just how Americans respond when their lives are threatened. ‘Murica!!!!

Clearly you don't live in the US. The gun violence isn't as bad as all that. It's mostly media hype. Yeah it happens some, but keep in mind its a huge country with 350 million people and just as many guns. Most Americans grew up around guns and understand how to safely use them... and not get shot by them. It's pretty simple usually, just don't be a fucking idiot like this guy. Yeah there are a few innocent people who catch random rounds every year, but that's rare. Unlike other first world countries, the United States values individual liberties and civil rights, among them the basic human right of self-defense. Gun control denies ordinary people the means to defend themselves.

And unlike other first world countries, the United States is very large and extremely diverse. It always has been diverse.
